nevertheless, usually i just assume that the thread has been dropped if i get long bouts of radio-silence on your end, so i won't come and bug you for it. of course, i would greatly appreciate it greatly if you could tell me that you're dropping the thread -- i get it, it happens, no hard feelings! but if it makes you anxious, then it's fine, too.
